Cha Ji-yoon est une travailleuse d'entreprise de 7 ans qui en a marre du travail et des rencontres. Elle croise des chemins avec Kang Si-woo, le patron cynique avec une réputation terrifiante. Inattendument, elle retrouve l'étincelle dans sa vie alors qu'elle apprend à connaître la gentillesse derrière ses mots sévères. Au milieu de déplacements répétés, d'accidents au travail et de relations ratées, les deux deviennent l'ancre irremplaçable de l'autre.
